The Types of Spiders Found In West Virginia

Many people really dislike spiders. You remember the movie Arachnophobia? That was a film that was centered on the fear of spiders and in West Virginia, spiders are everywhere. Brown recluse spiders: This spider is not known to reside in West Virginia at this time, but it has been found in neighboring states. It lives in secluded areas outdoors but may seek shelter indoors. It is capable of inflicting a poisonous bite to humans that can be dangerous to their health and possibly even life threatening.
Black widow spiders: This spider can be found in West Virginia and although it is known to be timid, it may bite a human if it’s been disturbed or its web has been disturbed. The bite of a black widow spider is poisonous and can cause severe physical pain and possibly be life threatening.
As you can see, some spiders are perfectly harmless while others can actually pose a threat to your health.
